Varsity Coaches

Varsity Head Coach: Alejandro Arellanes (Coach A)

Coach Alejandro Arellanes was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He graduated in 2019 from The University of Texas at El Paso with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Biology. This is Coach Arellanes’ fifth year at Austin High School teaching P.E. He has coached football, soccer, and baseball for five years and this will be his third year as Head Baseball Coach. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Varsity Assistant Coach: Rocky Clark

Coach Clark was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, in a army hospital and raised all over the state of Texas. Part of an education-focused family; his dad was a coach, mom a teacher, and brother a coach at Henrietta High School. He graduated in 1999 from Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. This is Coach Clark’s 3rd year at Austin High and 2nd season coaching baseball for the Maroons. Coach Clark enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
